国庆七天，妈妈带着我和弟弟一起去北京。游览了故宫。
雄伟壮丽的故宫，是北京的中心，这表现了中国古代建筑传统和独特风格的庞大建筑。故宫始建于明永乐四年t;1406年>，永乐十八年基本建成，历经明.清两朝二十四位权力最高的，至少也有近600年历史了。
我们来到故宫门前，一进门就是高大的红色城墙，进门映入眼帘的就是午门，高35.6米，午门上有五座楼，人们习惯叫它玉凤楼。我们穿过午门，来到了太和殿，太和殿 是故宫最富丽堂皇的建筑啦。俗称“金銮殿”殿高二十八米，宽十一间，进深五间，共十五间。有盈米大柱八十六根，气魄稳重。
在太和殿后面是一座方形的殿堂。殿内雕刻着很多的金龙，金光闪闪。栩栩如生。象征着权力最高的的权利。接下来就是文华殿，武英殿等殿宇。各有特色。最后一个就是坤宁门了。坤宁门后面就是权力最高的的后花园了，也是权力最高的的妃子们居住的地方。御花园内，亭台楼阁，小桥流水假山和花坛等。
我还发现了一个奇怪的'现象，就是几百年的故宫竟然没有树，这是为什么呢？听导游说这跟风水有关系，中国文化的智慧和建筑真是一门很大的科学啊。通过这一次游览故宫让我开阔眼界。领略了中国古代建筑的雄伟壮观和神奇。

我们把烟花放进车里便回家了。一进门，我就看见一桌子美食，炒花生米脆脆的，看着都好吃。排骨汤里飘着三根大骨头，鸡瓜黄黄的在辣椒油里躺着……一旁的姐姐直接抓起鸡爪啃起来，还满嘴流油。
爸爸说：“妈，做那么多干嘛，又吃不完。”奶奶回答：“今天过节，那么喜庆，就得多弄点”。我赶快去洗手，再到厨房打饭。等所有人都坐在桌子边时，爷爷站起来说：“今年的团年饭有些普通哈，大家吃哈！干杯。”大人们都站起来，一个一个和爷爷干杯。爸爸说：祝您万事如意！”二姑说：“祝您长寿！”大姑说：“祝您的病快好起来！”……

今天是大年三十，我们准备迎接新的一年。清晨，我一大早就被噼里啪啦的鞭炮声吵醒。按照我们自家的习俗，早上我们要一起吃饺子，代表团团圆圆，图个吉祥如意的好兆头。然后大家就开始忙碌起来，打扫卫生，洗洗涮涮，给大门口挂上了大红灯笼，站在门口听到到处都是新春的佳节的音乐。
中午，我们吃了团圆饭了，大圆桌上摆满了鸡、鸭、鱼、肉……丰盛的佳肴，从我记事以来我们家团圆的时候都有鸡爪和鱼这两道菜。长辈都说：”吃鱼吃鱼年年有余，岁岁有今朝。“妈妈都会对着爸爸说：”多吃鸡爪多捞钱养家糊口就靠你了，你负责赚我负责花。“全家人乐呵呵。一家人围坐在一起，聊聊近况、谈谈理想，有说有笑、把酒言欢，尽情享受这美食和团聚的快乐。
到了晚上一家人围坐烤火，吃零食。准备看春节联欢晚会，爸爸说：”今晚不可以睡觉哦！今晚要守岁。“每次我都是答应得好好的，但是第二天早上醒来都是在床上的。接近凌晨的时候，外边鞭炮声、烟花声、春节晚会的乐声，家家户户灯火通明，空气中弥漫这一股浓浓的年味。
