我的老家有许多传统的节日，我最喜欢的就是春节。
按照老家的习俗，春节从腊月二十三就开始了。腊月二十三被老家称为小年，这天，人们就开始打扫卫生，把房间的里里外外都打扫得干干净净，还要杀羊杀猪用来祭灶。从这天起，人们就开始办年货了：买对联、买糖果有些人家还要炸东西。
到了除夕就更热闹了，家家户户都在包饺子，到处都是酒肉的香味。男女老少都穿上了飘亮的新衣服，出门在外的人赶紧回家团圆。到了晚上，人们都要吃年夜饭。
从大年初一到初十，是人们走亲访友的好日子。人们都要互相拜年，祝福亲朋好友新年快乐，全家平安幸福。家里来了客人，大人们都要拿出好吃的东西来接待客人，小孩子们也都非常开心，因为他们都可以收到压岁钱。
到了元宵节的时候，到处都张灯结彩的，整条街道都挂满了灯笼彩旗，非常好看，小孩子们都高兴地唱起来跳起来，高兴极了，家家户户也都挂上了火红的灯笼，吃着汤圆。这都寓意着我们大家都团团圆圆。生活和和美美。晚上，大家有的放着美丽的烟花，有的在放许愿灯，美丽极了。
过了正月十六，春节就这样结束了，人们又开始了忙碌的工作，我们也开始认真的学习了。

广场不仅风景优美，而且还是个休闲娱乐的好场所。一到傍晚，广场就热闹起来了。看！老年人有的在下象棋，有的三五成群一边扇着蒲扇一边愉快的聊天。还有更多的人聚集在一起，放着音乐扭秧歌呢。小孩们有的在空地上玩老鹰捉小鸡，有的在树丛边玩捉迷藏。一派欢乐气象！
我走向喷泉，感觉一阵冷风向我吹来，上面还带着许多冰凉的小水珠。这时，我听到有许多小弟弟小妹妹欢呼“耶！可以到喷泉里玩喽！”只见他们跳着进去，湿漉漉的出来。喷泉变得时而大时而小，大的时候巨大的水珠直冲上天，小的时候大水柱又从天而降，变成细小的水流。一阵风吹来，喷泉的头一歪，水喷向另一边，像一个帽子被风吹走的老爷爷。神不知鬼不觉，大水柱像一个顽皮的孩子一样突然喷向我，把我浇得从头到脚都湿了，真凉爽呀！
